DSHM Rules & Regulations

Please go through the below rules:
- Students taking admission in DSHM, Kalyani will be under it's able supervision.
- Students will not be allowed to enter the class without proper uniform both in theory & practical classes.
- No absentism will be allowed without guardian's consent.
- No regional communication will be allowed apart from English inside the Campus.
- No students will be permitted to go outside the Campus during the College timings. If found then the students will be dealt strictly.
- Class timing 11.00 hrs to 16.30 hrs. It may change if any extra class is required by the Faculty Member.
- If anybody is found to be late in attending the class on specific time unnecessarily he /she will not be allowed to attend the class.
- Wearing of ornaments like bangles, earrings, finger rings, cufflinks, wristlet etc are strictly prohibited in the Institute.
- No excuse of absentism will be entertained during Casual Training, Class Test, Final Examination etc.
- Consumption of alcohol, drugs, smoking and other addictive materials are prohibited inside the hostel and college premises. If anybody is found consuming one of these will be rusticated from the college on spot.
- During Industrial Training and Placement choice of students as far as area is concerned will not be entertained. The management of DSHM is responsible for arranging the one time Industrial Training and one time Placement through client interview selection, for each student of DSHM. In any circumstances if student is terminated from the organization or leave the Job intentionally during the Training & Final Placement the Management of DSHM will not arrange any further Training or Placement schedule for these particular students.
- No ragging inside College & Hostel is allowed. Demurrage charges will be levied on damage and lost objects of the College from the students.
- No mobile phones will be allowed during the college hours.
- Misbehaving with others will be severely punished.
- Extra Hours of classes may be implemented if necessary.
- Every student have to pay a nominal stipulated bus fare decided by the Institute before starting a particular month (If any Bus facility is provided by the Institute).
- Once admitted in the Hostel no students will be allowed to leave without any valid reason. If any student leave the hostel during the course of study, his/her security deposit will be forfeited.
- According to the rules & regulations of the University an attendance of 85% in the Campus (Excluding the Time Periods of Industrial Training) is must, otherwise DSHM will not issue Admit Card to students for the Final Examination (85% attendance including 5% Concession on Medical Ground).
- Every Student has to pay a subscription per year for organizing different Cultural Program.
- If any student discontinues the course in between his/her study the management will not be responsible to refund any paid amount by the student what so ever and the candidate cannot lodge any complaint in this regard for receiving back the paid amount from the college authority to any judicial authority of India. If any student remain absent for 60 days without intimating the College without showing any valid reason then his / her name will be struck out from the Register.
- The management of DSHM is not responsible for any delays by the University related matters.
- Maintaining cleanliness in the Campus is the prime responsibility of the students.
- Every student has to maintain a proper grooming (Polished shoe, clean shaved, pressed shirt & trouser, proper hair cut etc.).
- Every guardian of the students has to attend the guardian meeting according to the intimation given by the management of DSHM.
- Every installment to be paid by 5th of (as per schedule) month. All fees are payable by Cheque/ Debit or Credit Card or by ICICI Easy pay apps/Demand Draft drawn in favor of “Dolphin School of Hotel Management” payable at kalyani. No Bank transfer/Bank Deposit/Cash Payment will be accepted. In case of Cheque bounce you have to pay the installment by cash along with Rs. 1500 as Fine + Rs. 500 as processing fees. N.B. No other payment will be accepted along with installment by Cheque/Demand Draft. Regarding fine please refer back to the installment schedule.
- The students having below 85% attendance have to pay a fine for appearing in the Annual Examination. The Management will not be liable for his/her placement.
- While going for 6 months Industrial Training the students must pay their installment in an Advance by Post Dated Cheque (PDC) as per their schedule and have to pay 50% of Hostel Fees in advance.
- At the time of enrolment for the hostel two months advance hostel fees to be deposited (As a Security Deposit) which will be adjusted with last two months hostel fees, in between the duration of the course if any candidate wants to discontinue his/her study, his/her two months security deposit amount will be forfeited without showing any reason to the candidate.
- No candidate shall be allowed to appear in any of the semester examinations, if he/she fails to get NOC from Account Section.
